KEEP ANONYMOUS WORKING. (Rapidshare file)

General

Remember the FOUR POINTS:

  • Operation Freakout
  • Lisa McPherson
  • Copyright infringement
  • Treason (planting agents in the Toronto Police, Ontario Provincial Police, etc.)

Here are some short to the point SIGN IDEAS that are useful for CoS staff to consider but uses strong language pedestrians can understand and look in to.

  • Stop "RPF" Torture
  • Stop "Fair Game" Terror
  • Stop "R2-45" Murder
  • Stop "Introspection RD" Abuse
  • Stop "Disconnection" Cruelty

Caution: Be anonymous - even to fellow anons. This isn't a social get together so keep your personal info to yourself. Wear masks and disguise yourselves. Put on your mask before you arrive and don't take it off until you are sure you are alone and safe. 4 people reported being followed by scienos. If a scieno follows you and you are with a group, confront them. If you feel threatened, call the police.

More tips on losing a follower

Read Chapter 9 from the Field Guide to Monkeywrenching. It has a section on Pursuit & Evasion. Memorize the shit in there and look for good routes for losing a tail on a map of the area.

Remember that "Fair Game" is in full effect. We caught a Scieno taking photos of us at Starbucks. ( Also we do not know where the Starbucks's security camera recordings goes to ) Do not give anyone any identifying information. Remain as anonymous as possible.

Rules of Engagement

There are reports that indicate that the Scienos will be shipping all the low-level members off-site, but will leave behind OTs to oppose the protest. If this is true, resistance might be stiff, and it will become important for all of us to keep our wits about us and remember several key points:

  • Unless you are possessed by the ghost of Socrates, do not engage in an argument with any Scieno. You will lose. You cannot convince them that they are wrong. Logic will not work against them. (I'm working on a guide on how to argue with $cientologists; add stuff that you think'll be helpful.)
  • If you are getting harassed by scienos as we've all seen happen in YouTube videos, walk away. Ignore them. Keep handing out flyers while they yell obsenities at you. Like a troll, the best way to treat these guys is to ignore them.
  • Do not under any circumstance touch a scieno with any part of your body. Don't even walk close to them. This should be obvious to everyone, but it is worth repeating. They will purposely run into you and claim assault. Don't fall into their traps!
  • If a scieno makes any type of physical contact with you in any way, back away and tell them not to touch you. If they persist, let the police know right away.
  • If, in the extremely unlikely case that you are attacked physically, do not fight back. This will more than likely not happen, but it is also worth mentioning. Go limp and fall to the ground, or curl up into a ball. Don't think that fighting back is "self defense" and you'll be let off- the police will come after you, and I'd rather go home on February 10th with a bruise than a criminal record.
  • Be wary of scienos posing as protesters who will try to start trouble and get us all arrested. This video is an example of police doing the same at Montebello- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihPd6lMKxPs
  • Plan for being pickpocketed! A scieno may try to lift your wallet in order to uncover your personal information. DO NOT CARRY PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION ON YOU. Better still, pull the Tintin trick (well, okay, it was Thompson and Thomson) and attach an elastic band or chain to your wallet so that if lifted, the perp gets caught and can be identified to police! Alternatives may include booby-trapping your pocket (SNAKES! SIRENS!) if you feel capable of engineering such.

Remember: if you see something bad happening, find the nearest police officer and if you can't, shout. Get someone to notice the bad behaviour of the scienos.

Important notes on acceptable behaviour

It cannot be stressed enough how important it is for the success of this operation that all persons attending behave in a respectable and dignified manner.

"Unacceptable behaviour" is any activity that damages our stance in the eyes of the general public - the very people we are trying to reach - and includes any type of illegal behaviour (vandalism, assault, mischief, etc.), or any other type of behaviour that lessens the seriousness of an event that is attempting to draw attention to an organization that has ruined lives.

Watch the following video and ask yourself, "If I'm an ordinary man/woman walking down the street, have never heard of Anonymous, and I only go online to check the value of my stock, would I be attracted to these protesters or be dismissive of them and their message?" Video in question: http://youtube.com/watch?v=eOv6sLoLqeQ

February 10th will be a fun day. You'll get to meet lots of people who share some of your values and who read some of the same websites that you do. However, shouting/singing memes, blasting chan music or live-action Rick Rolling people is counter-productive and will, whether you realize it or not, make you (and by association, everyone in the protest) look stupid. Ordinary people don't care about Rick Astley, or to whom all their base belongs to. They will, however, care to learn information about a dangerous organization that has roots in their community.

TL;DR: Our protests have been set up to deliver a serious message. Don't mess this up for everyone by wearing your Weeaboo shirt to the protest or pulling a stupid prank to impress your internet friends. Whether or not these protests are remembered as a victory or failure for Anonymous depends on your ability to behave with dignity.

  • Public Interaction

For the same reasons as noted in the above point, Public Interaction goes a very long way. Remember, when handing out pamphlets, be respectful of their choice to accept/decline. If they decide to accept your pamphlet, say thanks! If they don't, then there is no need to speak. Take note also, while complimenting the person you are offering the pamphlet too, this (to them) makes them think you are either not serious enough about what you are doing, and why you are protesting, or even makes them believe you are just there "for fun". The media's view on Anon still makes us out to be "a bunch of masked individuals pulling off an elaborate prank" So lets show them otherwise. Instead of complimenting the person, opt for something regarding Anon's belief while offering the paper. IE: "Scientology promotes criminal activity" or: "Scientology opposes Freedom of Speech"

In summary, general respect to the public, and keeping the protest relevant will help Anon reign victorious, and show others (Media, public, AND the CoS) that we are very serious about our goal, and will not stop until it is achieved. These are things to consider to make the next protest that much better. Improving our image insures more protests to come, and the eventual downfall and collapse of the Church of Scientology. The better we conduct our operations, the quicker the CoS will fall!

  • Posted Feb. 10th/08 on xenu.net and brought to attention by a fellow Anon, this is an interesting read:[1]

It is a message to Anon passed on through a supposed Scientologist to someone on the forum. It raises some interesting points to consider

Beyond this, all rules that apply to February 10th apply to March 15th aswell. Take note of all of the data on this page, from the previous raid, read the advice, and print some pamphlets. The more you read up on the subject the better.
